FAUGHANVALE have appointed Daniel McCauley as their new senior football Senior football manager.
He takes over after Emmett McKeever and Darrell O’Kane stepped down at the end of last season.
McCauley was manager of his native Naomh Pádraig Uisce Chaoin for six seasons.
During the tenure, he steered them to Donegal and Ulster junior titles, losing narrowly in the All-Ireland final.
McCauley will have Dougie Corbett in as coach who with him in Naomh Pádraig for two seasons, having also won the Donegal Junior Championship as joint-manager of Letterkenny Gaels.
The backroom team will be made up of Ryan King, Martin Sweeney and Pearse McKeever with Oisin Quinn looking after the S&C.
Elsewhere in the Oakleaf County, former Derry player Emmett McGuckin has taken over as the Ballerin manager.
A senior winner with Rossa in 2019, he takes over the Sarsfields who will eye the Derry junior title last year, having dropped down from intermediate at the end of 2025.
McGuckin will be assisted by former Derry teammate Cailean O’Boyle.
