2024 winner Niamh Mallon shortlisted for a camogie All-Star

FORMER Down camogie player Niamh Mallon has been shortlisted for a PwC Camogie All-Star.
She is one of 10 Galway players among a list of 36 players across six counties.
Mallon was selected on last year’s team, a first for an Ulster player since Derry’s Gráinne McGoldrick in 2009.
Down’s Máirín McAleenan made the initial team in 2004 with Derry’s Aisling Diamond (2007) and Antrim’s Jane Adams (2008) the other Ulster recipents.
This year’s winners will be announced at the PwC Camogie All-Stars Awards in Croke Park on Saturday, 15th November 2025, a night dedicated to celebrating excellence in the game.
O’Duffy Cup winners Galway have 10 players on the list, with beaten finalists Cork represented by 11 nominees. Semi-finalists Waterford and Tipperary have six and five representatives respectively. Kilkenny have three players included, while Clare have received one nomination.
