TYRONE won the O’Fiaich Cup with a runaway 13-point win over Louth in Crossmaglen.
Connor McAliskey and Tiernan McCann grabbed the goals while new faces Lee Brennan, Kieran McGeary, Padraig Hampsey and Hugh Pat McGeary caught the eye for Mickey Harte’s side.
It had looked promising for the Wee County 25 minutes in as they led having played into the breeze, but it was all one-way traffic from there with 10 Red Hand players getting on the scoresheet.
Kingscourt were crowned Cavan league champions with a 2-4 to 0-9 win over Ramor United.
Darragh Gunn goaled early doors for the Stars and Joe Dillon grabbed a second before the break as they completed the Breffni double.
There was some joy for Ramor though as they claimed the Cavan U-21 title with a commanding 2-12 to 0-8 win over Assan Gaels.
Goals from James Brady and Cathal Maguire, from the penalty spot, sent them on their way.
In Donegal, Bundoran bridged an 18-year gap to return to Division One.
The side defeated Four Masters by two points in the promotion-relegation play-off with Paul Brennan, Christy Keeney, Ciaran McCaughey and Tommy Hourihane all performing well for the victors.

SEAMUS Coleman and Killybegs’ hopes of an Ulster Minor title were kept alive following a 2-10 to 1-5 win over Down champions Rostrevor at St Paul’s.
It had all looked so glum for the Donegal side at the break as they trailed 1-5 to 1-1 – Gerard McHugh with the goal for Killybegs and Conor Mackin replying instantly for the Reds – but they owned the second half with their opponents failing to raise a flag playing into a stiff breeze.
Brian McCabe goaled for Killybegs early in the second half as they set up a final with Errigal Ciaran or St Gall’s.
Some of the St Gall’s minors were celebrating that weekend too after helping the Belfast club to the Antrim U-21 title, winning on a 2-8 to 0-6 scoreline.
It was their sixth title in a row with Conor McGourty and Kevin McDonald finding the net at Casement Park.
Clontibret were crowned Monaghan league champions with a 1-11 to 1-7 win over Scotstown – Shane Mulligan with the goal for the champions.
All-Ireland champions Tyrone held a trial match as manager Mickey Harte ran his eye over some potential new recruits. For those who had lifted Sam a few months previously, a trip to Jamaica awaited.

IT was set to be a sweet Christmas for Carrickmore as they claimed the Tyrone title for the first time since 1979 following a 1-8 to 0-6 win over Moortown.
With five members of Tyrone’s All-Ireland final losing side involved, the Carmen side were best on the day with Eamonn Martin wrapping up the win with a late goal.
Erne Gaels were crowned Fermanagh Division One champions for the first time following a 1-9 to 1-7 win over St Patrick’s.
Super-sub Liam McAuley was the hero as the 41-year-old drove his side to the Canon Maguire Cup in the final stages with his brilliant pass picking out John McCann for the decisive goal.
