FORMER Ulster minor and u-21 winning goalkeeper Danny Rodgers has been named on the bench for Donegal this weekend with Shaun Patton listed as the the number one.
The Ulster champions face a vital clash with Mayo in a bid to make it to the knock-out stages of the championship.
Patton hasn’t played since picking up an injury in the Ulster final win over Armagh.
Gavin Mulreaney played in the last two games but isn’t listed in the 26 this weekend.
Rodgers, who played in Dungloe’s win over Bundoran last Sunday, was goalkeeper on the Ulster minor winning teams of 2014 and 2017.
He has been called into the panel and wears the number 16 jersey.
Rodgers has McKenna Cup experience, won an intermediate title with his club and played in last year’s senior final against St Eunan’s.
Jason McGee is named on the bench but Caolan McGonagle and Niall O’Donnell are still out.
