DOWN SENIOR HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND THREE

BALLYGALGET V LIATROIM

Saturday, Ballygalget, 5pm

BALLYGALGET are two from two already in the competition and once again look the team most likely to give Portaferry the most trouble in the business end of the championship.

Verdict: Ballygalget

CARRYDUFF V BALLYCRAN

Sunday, Carryduff, 2pm

WITH the two big hitters in Portaferry and Ballygalget out of the way, Carryduff will look to grab their first points of the campaign, but Ballycran may have too much.

Verdict: Ballycran

PORTAFERRY V BREDAGH

Sunday, Portaferry, 4.30pm

PORTAFERRT remain the team to beat in the Mourne County and with two wins on the board already, it’s hard to see them not getting a third successive victory.

Verdict: Portaferry

DOWN JUNIOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND TWO

GROUP ONE

BRIGHT V AGHADERG

Friday, Bright, 7pm

AGHADERG have the advantage of already playing one championship game, although they lost their first round tie, and Bright will be keen to get off on the front foot this weekend.

Verdict: Bright

EAST BELFAST V DUNDRUM

Friday, East Belfast, 7pm

IT’S a very early top of the table clash in Group One and given the scoring power that Dundrum showed in their first round draw, they’ll look to win away from home.

Verdict: Dundrum

GROUP TWO

AUGHLISNAFIN V DRUMANESS

Friday, Aughlisnafin, 7pm

AUGHLISNAFIN will want to begin their campaign with a home victory but they begin their journey against a Drumaness side that kicked an impressive 1-20 in the first round.

Verdict: Drumaness

KILCLIEF V ARDGLASS

Friday, Kilclief, 7pm

ARDGLASS had a really good win over St Michael’s in the opening round, while Kilclief just game up short against Drumaness so this one could be evenly matched.

Verdict: Ardglass
