Red Hands face Cork after lifting 26th Ulster minor title.

By Michael McMullan

TYRONE’S reward for winning their 26th Ulster minor title is an All-Ireland quarter-final date with Munster runners-up Cork.

Cavan led at half-time in Sunday’s Ulster final in Brewster Park before goals from star man Joel Kerr and Cathal Farley shot Tyrone to victory.

For their part, Cavan will face Kerry who were winners in Munster as the All-Ireland race continues with the back door structure.

The Red Hands now begin their search for a ninth All-Ireland title and a first since 2010 when they fended off a Cork fightback after Harry Óg Conlon’s goal put them on their way to a 1-12 to 0-7 interval lead.

All-Ireland MFC quarter-finals
Tyrone v Cork
Cavan v Kerry
Louth v Roscommon
Offaly v Mayo
