ULSTER champions Donegal lead the way in the All-Star nominations with 10 players listed including Finnbarr Roarty and Michael Murphy who have been shortlisted for their respective Player of the Year awards.
They received one more nomination than All-Ireland champions Kerry who have David Clifford and Joe O’Connor vying with Murphy for the prestigious Player of the Year award.
Armagh have five names in the list of 45 with Oisin Conaty tipped by many to be selected in the actual team.
Monaghan goalkeeper Rory Beggan is one of three Oriel County players, with Odhrán Murdock (Down) and Conor Glass (Derry) also included.
The 15 players selected won’t be known until the night itself, a rotation from last year when the hurling selection was kept under wraps until the night.
