THE Swatragh and Devenish clubs will honour the memory of Paul Coyle next month with a special game at Davitt Park.
Former Fermanagh player Coyle moved to Swatragh from Devenish and, alongside his wife Sally, raised their family – Peadar, Niall, Fergal, Aoife, Emer and Meabh.
He immersed himself in the Swatragh community where he managed the Northern Counties Co-Op.
Paul played for Swatragh, coached teams, was involved in the committee and left a huge imprint on the club.
He was part of Malachy O’Rourke’s management team in Fermanagh, a role that saw a regularly round trip from his home in Swatragh.

Paul was also a Sigerson Cup winner in his time with University of Ulster.
The Swatragh and Devenish clubs will play a Masters’ game as part of the “Some Scene” event on Saturday, October 25 at 3pm.
Anytime Paul was at a function or event, where the craic would be in full flow, he’d often smile, clap his hands and utter the words “this is some scene”.
Following the game, there will be refreshments, music and a night of reminiscing with all proceeds going to Swatragh’s heart screening programme.
