BURREN were crowned Ulster League champions on Thursday night with a one-point victory over fellow Down side Mayobridge.
Captain Ryan Treanor kicked the winning score in injury time to clinch a 0-10 to 0-9 win.
Treanor kicked six points in all, Ronan Kelly also had a two-pointer in a 0-3 tally with James McCann hitting the other score.
The Ulster league run of games sets both teams up for the Down leagues when they begin next month.
Burren will travel to Glenn in the first game of the campaign while Mayobridge host Warrenpoint.
On the intermediate front, the semi-finals are down for decision on Sunday with two Derry teams still in the mix.
Desertmartin will host St Peter’s of Armagh with Cavan’s Killinkere at home to Greenlough.
Desertmartin needed penalties to see off Tyrone’s Owen Roes, led by All-Ireland winner Cathal McShane. in the quarter-final.
The Tyrone side had the winning post in sight but a Ryan McEldowney point sent the tie to penalties.
The Desertmartin hero was goalkeeper Chrissy Scullion who saved two penalties.
Greenlough had a dramatic ending with Cillian Moore’s two pointer snatching victory over Aughnamullen.
The junior final will take place on Sunday with Stewartstown hosting Letterkenny Gaels.
