“Managers no longer crave ‘pretty football’, or praise for ‘playing well’.

“They just want to deliver 18 scores per game, while ensuring opponents score less.

“So Gaelic football, by kicking on, could find that kicking skills are the best skill to deliver scores.

“Shooting practice sessions should be renamed ‘scoring practice’.
