GAELIC Life columnist Kevin Cassidy believes that Tyrone are genuine contenders for the All-Ireland title this year.

Speaking in the aftermath of their impressive performance in last week’s drawn encounter at Croke Park between the counties, Casssidy said that the Red Hands could go far.

“Tyrone’s hunger and ferocious tackling gave them the platform to go and attack the Dubs and cause them real bother,” he said.

“I’m excited to see how far this young side could go this year, on early showings they look like one of only three teams capable of challenging the Dubs come September.”
