Make sure you don’t over exert yourself early in the season

He says that players must be smart in how they treat their bodies early in the season, so that they peak at the right time.

“If you’re constantly having to borrow from the following week, and the week after that, you’re going to eventually find that there is no water left in the well, and you’re going to hit a brick wall.

“Let’s not hit that brick wall.

“I’m tired of seeing so many players’ season’s end far too early whether that’s because of injury, or burn out or simply because they don’t know how to manage themselves between games.

“Rest, recover, sleep, train.

“Be smart in you approach to get success this season.”
