Opinion: Class is permanent

By Shaun Casey

On Sunday, Caroline O’Hanlon made her first appearance of the season for the Armagh ladies and helped her side earn their third win on the trot.

O’Hanlon was a late addition to the starting line up and that appearance marked her 21st season playing competitive football for the Orchard County.

That’s an unbelievable record. Not only that, but the three-time All-Star also kicked two points in Armagh’s 0-13 to 0-6 win over Monaghan.

That sends them through to the Division Two semi-finals where they now face Laois.

Making it all the more remarkable, the Carrickcruppen star is also still playing netball and doesn’t look ready to step away from either sport any time soon!
