Coleraine’s Ciaran Mullan ‘Champing at the bit’

In this week’s Gaelic Life, Coleraine’s Ciaran Mullan speaks to Niall Gartland ahead of his team’s semi-final clash against Scotstown.

After winning their first ever Derry senior title in 2010, Eoghan Rua are now in touching distance of their first ever provincial decider but a mammoth task stands in their way.

“We’re taking Ulster more serious this time around. Last time it was all gung ho for the Derry championship and once we got over the line that was really it.”

“This year we we want to give Ulster a good rattle. Maybe Castlerahan fell into the same trap as we did in 2010 but they were still tough enough opponents.”

Mullan goes on to speak about the journey, Sean McGoldrick and the differences between the Ulster and Derry championships.
