Competition continuing to heat up at St. Paul’s

Only five remain in the 2018 St. Paul’s minor club championship after another weekend of high quality action.

Kealan Friel registered the Bellaghy major while Seaan Elliot netted for the Saffron men.

Down champions, Ballyholland set up a mouth-watering last four clash with Crossmaglen beating Oliver Plunkett’s of Cavan in an absorbing contest.

Scores were aplenty as the Mourne men claimed a 3-9 to 2-8 win.

The Armagh champions reaching the semi-final stage with a devastating win over Fermanagh representatives, Derrygonnelly.

Meanwhile, the last four will be confirmed next weekend as Bellaghy face St. Eunan’s in the last quarter-final contest.
