Greenlough trio ready for London’s league opener

By Michael McMullan

FORMER Derry star Enda Lynn has been named in London’s attack for Saturday’s NFL game in Wexford.

Lynn last played for the Oakleafers in the 2020 Ulster SFC defeat to Armagh, replaced by Paul Cassidy late on in the game.

Under Damian McErlain, Lynn played at corner forward in Derry’s 0-19 to 1-9 win over London at Ballinascreen in the 2019 in Division Four campaign as Derry bounced back after a one-year stint in the bottom tier.

Lynn transferred to play club football with Round Towers in London last season.

Another Greenlough man, goalkeeper Kevin Mullan, has been named between the posts with Ryan Tohill listed on the bench.

All three – who play for Round Towers – played in Greenlough’s last intermediate winning team of 2020 and are due back for the club’s domestic season later in the year.

Former Laois player Cahir Healy is named at corner back by manager Michael Maher.
