Kilrea form new-look management team ahead of the 2022 season

By Michael McMullan

KILREA manager Declan Bradley has rejigged his management team ahead of the new season.

Bradley, now in his third season as in charge, has brought Padraig O’Kane on board.

The former Derry and Loup player managed St Pius Magherafelt to the 2020 MacLarnon Cup final, before the title was shared after the Covid outbreak.

O’Kane takes over from outgoing trainer Conleth Donnelly, with Eamon Quinn also stepping down.

Former goalkeeper Paul Morgan and Sean Rogers complete the new management team.

Kilrea have played in Division 1B in recent seasons and were knocked out of the 2021 senior championship at the last 16 stage at the hands of Ballinderry after extra time.
