LOUGHINISLAND surprisingly won the last time this two teams met, just three weeks ago and will be out to repeat that performance, Warrenpoint are sure to carry in a lot of motivation and that could see them through.

MAYOBRIDGE V KILCOO

Sunday, Pairc Esler, 7.15pm

MAYOBRIDGE have been coming along nicely after losing to Burren after extra time, but this is a huge step up in class. Mayobridge will look to step the odds but Kilcoo are favourites to advance and claim yet another title.

Verdict: Kilcoo

 

DOWN INTERMEDIATE FOOTBALLCHAMPIONSHIP SEMI FINALS

LIATROIM V ROSTREVOR

Friday, Pairc Esler, 7.15pm

A REPEAT of the opening round of the championship, which Rostrevor edged out by three points. That’s the only game that neither hit the net so goals will be crucial to deciding the outcome this weekend.

Verdict: Rostrevor

 

SAVAL V ST JOHN’S DRUMNAQUOILE

Saturday, Pairc Esler, 5pm

BOTH sides have been in terrific form right throughout the championship and deserve their spots in the last four. This could go right down to the wire, but Saval may just have enough to squeeze into the decider.

Verdict: Saval

 

DOWN JUNIOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI FINALS

DROMARA V EAST BELFAST

Saturday, Drumaness, 2pm

EAST Belfast have hit seven goals in their last two outings and while Dromara will pose them serious questions, if they can continue that goal scoring form it may be enough to seal their place in the showpiece.

Verdict: East Belfast

 

TECONNAUGHT V ARDGLASS

Sunday, Bright, 2pm

THIS could go down the way of a shoot out and which ever team has brough their shooting boots could go all the way. Teconnaught will be full of hope and confidence, but Ardglass might just shade this one.
