THERE will be a new face in the Ederney management as they bid to regain the Fermanagh Senior Championship.
Mickey Cassidy will remain in charge but he has added current Donegal Ladies’ manager Maxi Curran as trainer.
Curran, who takes Donegal into this weekend’s National League final, was part of the county’s management team that return Sam Maguire in 2012.
He was in charge of Letterkenny IT in this year’s Sigerson Cup and will be on board to help being home the New York Cup Ederney won in 2020.
They may have to plan with ace forward Sean Cassidy, son of manager Mickey, who is on injured list.
Ederney ended Derrygonnelly’s hopes of six successive titles in the 2020 final to take the club’s second ever title, having lost the 2018 final to the Harps.
Their other success game back in 1968.
