PREVIEWS: Fermanagh Intermediate final berths up for grabs

FERMANAGH INTERMEDIATE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP QUARTER-FINAL

DERRYLIN V ST PATRICK’S DONAGH

Saturday, O’Connell Park, 4.30pm

THESE two teams are evenly matched albeit Derrylin had a slightly better time of it in the group stages. Derrylin have made significant strides in recent seasons, while St Pat’s have been strong under current manager Paul Hasson. Going by current form, Derrylin may edge it.

Verdict: Derrylin

IRVINESTOWN V BELCOO

Sunday, St Molaise Park, 4pm

IRVINESTOWN have had a super season, winning the Division Two title, but they have been made to work hard for their place in the knock-out rounds. They still picked up more points than Belcoo, and you’d have to make them favourites for this one.

Verdict: Irvinestown

FERMANAGH JUNIOR CHAMPIONSIPSEMI-FINAL

BROOKEBOROUGH V NEWTOWNBUTLER

Saturday, Shamrock Park, 4.30pm

TITLE favourites Newtownbutler get a second bite of the cherry after losing by a late Eddie Courtney penalty to Aghadrumsee. Brookeborough are underdogs here but it’s a bit of a free hit for them after a good win over Coa at the weekend.

Verdict: Brookeborough
