RYAN McAnespie could be set for a shock return to the Monaghan setup after returning home from Australia.
The Emyvale clubman has missed the entire season up to this point but could be in for consideration ahead of next weekend’s Ulster Championship semi-final.
Monaghan saw off Tyrone in by two points in their dramatic first round clash to set up a last four showdown with reigning champions Derry.
McAnespie last lined out for the Farney men when they were knocked out of the 2022 championship by Mayo.
McAnespie, who scored 0-1 against Derry at the same stage of the competition last year, will be a big boost for Monaghan and Vinny Corey this weekend if available.
