Tyrone GAA Annual 2020- In shops now!

A Winning Read

Celebrating another action-packed season of Gaelic Games in the County, the Tyrone GAA Annual 2020 has just hit the shelves.

Chronicling the individuals and teams across the whole GAA fabric who grabbed the headlines in the past twelve months, this bumper packed publication will recall the memorable moments from another stand-out year.  We look back on the marathon 22-match campaign of the Tyrone Senior Men’s Footballers who reached the last four of the All-Ireland Championship and won the McKenna Cup, as well as the encouraging progress of the Tyrone Ladies Senior Footballers in their first season back at the senior grade.

At underage level the Tyrone under-20 men sealed an Ulster title before agonisingly missing out on a place in the All-Ireland final at the hands of eventual champions, Cork.

In club football Trillick claimed the Senior Championship crown, while all-conquering Galbally did likewise at Intermediate level, with the Rock the Junior kingpins.

In the ladies’ game, St Macartan’s firm grip on power showed few signs of abating as they sealed another Senior League and Championship double, while Edendork annexed the Ulster Junior title.

Elsewhere, the hurlers of Dungannon Eoghan Ruadh reached the Ulster Intermediate final after sealing the Benburb Cup, and the Tyrone Minor Camogs struck All-Ireland gold.

A litany of success stories also unfolded at Schools level; on the handball courts, while our Scór acts also hit the heights on stage.

Packed full of features, interviews, stats, and photographs this year’s publication includes:

  • Tyrone Manager Mickey Harte and All-Star winner Cathal McShane reflect on the past season
  • A Q&A with Dromore and Tyrone legend Ryan McMenamin
  • Eileen Jones talks about her first year as Ulster Ladies President
  • Club by club season review
  • The 1959 county final that never was
  • Declan McCrossan looks back on his career
  • Living the American Dream – playing in the States
  • Our Festive time Tyrone GAA Quiz
