Cavan’s Gearoid McKiernan

There have been very few changes to the Cavan panel, and it should be very similar to the one that played in the league. Tom Hayes (full forward) is one player to take note of. He was part of the u-21 squad this year, and is expected to get more game time with the seniors in the championship.

Forward Niall McDermott is down as active for the championship, however be careful in selecting him as he is injured and is doubtful to be fit for the Armagh game on May 29.

Cavan have a goalkeeper to consider for inclusion in your team, as Raymond Galligan scored 51 points in last year’s championship, and 93 in  this year’s NFL competition. He did so thanks to some clean sheets and dead ball scoring.

The other player who must be considered is Gearoid McKiernan who was the top scoring player of the 2016 NFL competition. In last year’s Fantasy Championship, McKiernan scored 42 points in three matches.
