All-Ireland Féile among latest GAA cancellations

THE 2020 All-Ireland Féile competitions are among the latest GAA cancellations due to the coronavirus outbreak.

It is a major blow for Ulster counties Tyrone, Donegal and Derry who were due to host the John West Féile na nÓg competition in late June.

The Celtic Challenge and academy activities have also been cancelled, while May’s Conancht Championship meeting between New York and Galway has been postponed.

In tomorrow’s Gaelic Life, Down chairman John Devaney suggests that a straight knock-out All-Ireland Championship may eventually come on the agenda.
