ARMAGH All-Ireland winner Jemar Hall has joined Stephen Poacher’s Leitrim management team as the Head of Athletic Development.
Hall is among the list of players that retired from the Armagh squad since they brought Sam Maguire home in 2024.
Poacher is getting his plans together for athird season at the helm. The begin the season in Division Four.
He will once again have Anthony McGrath, Daniel St Ledger (coaches) and Patrick Morrison (Goalkeeper coach) as part of his management team.
“We are delighted that Jemar is coming on board,” Poacher said of Hall’s addition. “He brings 10 years of experience of playing with Armagh, having achieved the ultimate Celtic Cross in 2024.
“He will bring a lot more than the Athletic Development side of it, he will bring his knowledge and knowhow of having played at the highest level,” he added.
Half of the Leitrim squad are under the age of 22 and Poacher said Hall’s input will bring them on “10-fold”.
Hall co-founded his own company, HH Performance, alongside Armagh goalkeeper Blaine Hughes.
“A lot of these lads will know Jemar from his playing days but he has 10 years’ experience in Strength and Conditioning,” Poacher added.
“The experience he has with the senior club sides, with the Armagh academies and the underage, Jemar will be able to bring that to the table
“Coming in as Head of Athletic Development for our senior team, the ceiling is high because they are so young. It’s a brilliant addition for us and a brilliant opportunity for him.”
