STRUGGLE…Kieran McGeeney is currently down a number of players

ARMAGH last night trained with just 21 players as they felt the impact of a costly weekend of club action.

Stefan Forker, Colm Watters, Mickey Murray and Pearse Casey all picked up injuries with their clubs at the weekend and Ciaron O’Hanlon hurt humself at county training last Tuesday. All of those players are now in a race against time to be available for next Saturday’s Qualifier match against Laois in Portlaoise.

Ethan Rafferty is definitely out with a broken knuckle although James Morgan will be available as his hand surgery is scheduled for June 21st.

Kevin Dyas and Andrew Murnin have been ruled out for the season.
