Gaelic Life All-Star voting begins

THIS is the 10th anniversary of the Gaelic Life Ulster Club All-Stars and starting today Gaelic Life will begin to publish their shortlist for the 2020 Camogie, Ladies Football, Hurling and Men’s Football All-Stars.

As there was no Ulster Club Championship competition in 2020, the GL staff decided to change the format. To mark success, they have selected their nominations from the senior club competitions in each of the nine counties, and from the four codes that were played last season. Three players from the senior championships played in each county across the four codes will be put forward for the public vote.

County by county, the nominees who have stood out will be revealed, starting today with club hurlers, camogs and footballers from Tyrone. Gaelic Life want you to vote for your favourite and they will use those votes as a guide to selecting the overall All-Star winners in each county.

Ronan Scott, Editor, Gaelic Life said; “We are proud to once again honour the talents of club players across Ulster.

The Senior Club Championships are the most high-profile competitions in our province and we are honoured and privileged to be able to write about these fine players this season.”

Make your way to gaeliclife.com and get voting for your favourite nominees.

Those that vote will be entered into a free prize draw for exclusive Ulster Club All-Star merchandise courtesy of McKeever Sports.

Gaelic Life are delighted to continue their partnership with McKeever Sports to mark the 10th anniversary of the Club Awards. Having recently secured a 6-year kit deal for Armagh GAA, McKeever Sports continue to supply the GAA community with top-class merchandise. Padraic McKeever, Managing Director said:

We are delighted to be the principal sponsor for the 2020 Gaelic Life Awards.

In what has been a very difficult year, it is a privilege that we can still honour the great sportsmanship our province has to offer.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the numerous clubs who have done business with us over the last year. They are the bedrock of our business and we are more than happy to support this event and give back to those who support McKeever Sports.”
