THE championship kicked into gear last weekend and here are some of the key performers.
1 NIALL MORGAN Tyrone
Position in doubt going into the Ulster game with Armagh, but showed why he’s still one of the best.
2 CORMAC QUINN Tyrone
Shut down Oisín Conaty completely, not many can say they did that.
3 CIARAN BRADLEY Donegal
Excellent in Donegal’s championship opener against Wicklow.
4 PATRICK TURNER Derry
Another fine showing as the side got their Christy Ring campaign off to a great start.
5 GREG MCCABE Armagh
Another fine performance, the Camlough man is having a great season.
6 GARETH MURPHY Armagh
Really stood up in the final quarter and then into extra-time against Tyrone.
7 EVELYN MCGINLEY Donegal
Excellent showing on a great day for the Tir Chonaill County.
8 CONN KILPATRICK Tyrone
Player of the Match with one of his best displays in the white and red.
9 LARA DAHUNSI Antrim
Brought a score, turnovers and all sorts of qualities in their heart-breaking final loss to Louth.
10 SINEAD QUINN Armagh
Caught the eye as an in-form Armagh secured the league title.
11 KATIE DOWDS Donegal
Player of the match as Donegal moved to the top tier as champions.
12 OISÍN O’NEILL Armagh
Only on a sub but Armagh’s best player. Should he be starting? It’ll be interesting to see what happens against Fermanagh.
13 NIALL MCGAREL Tyrone
Blistering showing as Tyrone got the better of Sligo by seven points.
14 KATE McSEAIN Cavan
A brilliant 2-4 tally as Cavan made it to the All-Ireland Minor C final with victory over Donegal.

A hat-trick of fine goals in their Lory Meagher opener.
