Gaelic Life team of the week

WHAT a weekend it was with the leagues in full flow with scores and incidents bursting from games across the land.

Here is our selection from games involving Ulster teams.

1 ETHAN RAFFERTY Armagh

What a reintroduction for the Grange man. Epic against Tyrone.

2 JEMAR HALL Armagh

Named at corner-back but played everywhere in one of his best performance for a long time.

3 OISIN KELLY Donegal

Really good man-marking display on talented Tyrone forward Aidy Kelly. A good Ulster derby win.

4 CASEY TREANOR Monaghan

A couple of crucial scores in the low-scoring win over Tipperary.

5 DECLAN MCCUSKER Fermanagh

The Erne captain showed real drive – and a scoring touch – against Antrim.

6 CONOR MCCARTHY  Monaghan

Seven points for the player from wing-back, you can’t argue with that.

7 HANNAH GILSENAN  Cavan

Year two on the panel and continues to make her mark, as shown against Down in her first start of the season.

8 CONOR MCSHEA Fermanagh

Really caught the eye in the hard-fought win over Longford.

9 DANIEL GUINNESS Down

Monster second-half performance in the comeback win over Cork.

10 DÁIRE Ó BAOILL Donegal

Ran, scored, ran some more, scored some more. Outstanding.

11 JAMES MCNAUGHTON Antrim

An incredible 1-14 tally as Antrim got their first win of the Davy Fitz era.

12 THERESA MELLON Antrim

Her 1-3 tally – including the late winner – was crucial in the narrow winner over Fermanagh.

13 TOM MCGRATTAN Down

Unplayable at the minute – as 15 points against Derry showed.

14 AOIBH MULHOLLAND St Patrick’s, Maghera

A dynamite hat-trick helped the Derry school into the All-Ireland Camogie final.

15 LIAM O’BRIEN Cavan

His brilliant start set the platform for the side’s win over Sligo.
