MacRory Cup quarter-final update

THERE will be an all-Derry quarter-final in January after St Patrick’s Maghera saw off Our Lady’s Castleblayney on Friday at Owenbeg.

An early Finbarr McShane goal put Maghera into a lead they never lost in a 1-10 to 0-4 win.

It’s sets up last eight clash with St Mary’s Magherafelt.

There are two Donegal sides in the hat after Abbey VS saw off Cathair Dhoire with three-in-a-row chasing Omagh also coming through.

It was followed up by Abbey coming out winners against Cathair Dhoire.

The final game of the weekend saw St Colman’s overcome St Ronan’s on Friday night in Darver.

The Abbey CBS v St Macartan’s game fixed for Monday evening in Burren.
