THE Ulster Club Championships are back this year after a one-year hiatus, and the football competition is set to get underway on Saturday, November 20..
Whoever comes out on top in the Donegal and Derry Senior Football Championship will meet in the preliminary round that day, but their hurling counterparts have an extra three weeks to wait as nine in-a-row Derry champions Sleacht Néill take on Antrim kingpins Dunloy on December 12. A repeat of the 2019 decider which the Derry side won by eight points, It has the potential to be a cracking match
Trillick met Derrygonnelly in the championship two years ago, with the Fermanagh titans winning on penalties, and once again the winners of Tyrone and Fermanagh will meet in the first-round.
That game will be played on Sunday, December 5, and the victors will potentially play the Armagh or Antrim champions in the semi-finals, which will take place on Sunday, December 5. Elsewhere, the winners of Cavan final Ramor and Gowna will play either Kilcoo or Burren.
The Ulster Senior Football Championship final has been fixed for January 16, while the the hurling finals have yet to be scheduled.
Here’s the full Ulster Senior Football Championship draw, while the fixtures for the other provincial club competitions can be found on the Ulster GAA website.
