Team news: Cavan name squad for Sunday’s visit to Clones

By Michael McMullan

DERMOT McCabe has named his Cavan team for Sunday’s Ulster Championship clash with Monaghan in Clones.

There is one change from their defeat to Derry in the final league game.

Gerard Smith starts ahead of Niall Carolan who is named on the bench.

There is a return for Evan Crowe to the panel but Ryan Brady and Paddy Meade are still out of contention.

With Cavan having won the last three championship meetings between the counties, it is set up for another interesting chapter in the rivalry.

The winners await whoever comes through from Derry’s clash with Antrim on Saturday.
