A number of Ulster stars have been named on the LGFA 2026 Teams of the League across the top three divisions. Armagh, Cavan, Donegal, Tyrone, Antrim, Down and Fermanagh are all represented.
Armagh captain Lauren McConville is the only Ulster name on the Division One team. She has been a mainstay for the Orchard County over the last few years and was superb in helping them remain in the top tier.
Donegal and Cavan will join Armagh in the topflight in 2027 having gained promotion from Division Two. They locked horns in the league final and goals from Katie Dowds and Mia Bennett were crucial in Donegal’s 2-7 to 0-8 victory.
Evelyn McGinley, Tara Hegarty, Feena McManamon, Roisin Rodgers, Dowds and Susanne White represent the champions on the Division Two team. Tyrone’s Eimear Quinn is also named among an all-Ulster defence.
For runners-up Cavan, Zara Fay, Sinéad Greene, Catherine Dolan along with Ella and Aishling Sheridan are named among the best 15 in Division Two.
Division Three league finalists Antrim, who lost the decider to Louth having secured back-to-back promotions, have four players on the Team of the League. Maeve Blaney, Ciara Brown, Omolara Dahunsi and Maria O’Neill are all named.
Down and Fermanagh are also represented in the Division Four Team of the League, with sharpshooter Eimear Fitzpatrick and Eimear Smyth named in the front six.
