Updated fixtures for Ulster minor hurling tournament in Ballinascreen

BALLINASCREEN have released their amended fixtures for their Ulster Club Minor Hurling Championship after the weather played havoc with last weekend’s games.

The tournament returns after two years of inactivity.

Reigning champions Loughgiel are back to defend the title they won in 2019 when they take on Lavey in the cup competition.

The shield gets proceedings underway this weekend, with the eventual winners advance to the cup semi-finals.

The tournament began in 1995 with Portaferry crowned champions, one of 13 different winners in the history of the competition.

Craobh Ciaran v St Eunan’s – Wed, Dec 21 (7.45pm)

Shield final – Wednesday, December 28 at 1pm
Éire Óg  v Craobh Ciaran/St Eunan’s

Cup semi-finals
Bredagh v Shield winners Sat, Dec 31 (12noon)
Loughgiel v Lavey – Sat, Dec 31 (2pm)

Cup Final – Saturday, January 7 (1pm)
