They include things like compromising, lacking belief and failing to engage with their players.

“Poor coaches work at sport, great coaches work with players, listen to them, debate with them. They talk to them all regularly. They expect and welcome their ideas and question. Great coaches learn and discover with their players.

“Great managers take and give advice. You inspire players by the way you make them feel.

“The better you make you players feel, the better your results will be.”
