Game you most enjoyed playing in?

All Ireland Junior Kilmacud sevens in 2009 when we won it with Ardtrea.

Game you least enjoyed playing in?

All Ireland semi final versus Louth 2018 – we were up by two points with all the momentum and six minutes to go and one of their girls had a head injury – there was no ambulance at the field so we had to wait 40 minutes to finish that game! Game started and they scored a goal and we didn’t come back from it. Talk about heartbreak. Still hurts.

Terrie Donaghy – loves the chat

What’s the funniest thing you’ve seen happen in training/during a match?

Dog coming on the pitch and being a torture to catch.

What’s the worst excuse you’ve heard to get out of training and who did it come from?

Dundee university ladies own this one – Meabh McNulty and Maria Quinn – bad Chinese apparently (they were out the night before)

Biggest ego?

Pass – I’ll stay safe thanks

Worst/best person to sit next to on the team bus?

Before match – I try to grab a double seat and get some sleep and after everyone socialises together  – thankfully no bad bus buddies or I haven’t found them yet!

It’s still about the men!!

What’s the best thing about being part of the GAA?

The years of friendships – the team becomes your extended family, win lose or draw they are by your side. You can’t beat the GAA
