In today’s Gaelic Life, in an interview with Kevin Cassidy, Steven McDonnell admits that coaching his club was more difficult than he expected.
He said: “Our club has talent, but they seem to accept mediocrity quite a lot.
“When I took over I wanted to change the mindset somewhat. I cleared some players out of the set up because they were not committed enough for me, then all of a sudden I bacame the biggest bollocks of all for doing it.”
