ARMAGH’S Ben Crealey has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a broken ankle, whole fellow midfielder Callum O’Neill has suffered a shoulder injury.
With Niall Grimley retired and Rian O’Neill no longer with the squad, it leaves Orchard boss Kieran McGeeney short on midfield options ahead of Saturday’s Ulster Championship quarter-final with Fermanagh in Enniskillen.
Crealey, an All-Star winner in 2024, has long been a key player for McGeeney’s side and started in their last championship loss to the Erne County in 2018.
Belleek man O’Neill has been a late bloomer in terms of county appearances, but was a regular during this season’s league campaign and was set for a more prominent championship role. Gaelic Life understands the severity of his injury is yet to be fully determined.
