SLIGO have added Tyrone three-time All-Ireland winner Joe McMahon to their management team as Head Coach for 2027.
McMahon was part of the Tyrone management team that delivered the 2021 All-Ireland title.
The Omagh club man joins Dessie Sloyan’s ticked for the new season that also includes assistant manager Eamon O’Hara, selectors Paul Higgins and Eamon McGee.
Another Omagh man, Des McGuinness, joins as goalkeeping coach.
On the hurling front, Derry man Reece Armstrong remains as coach with Sligo’s senior hurlers under manager Tom Hennessy.
Armstrong, from Banagher, coached the Ulster Univcersity Magee/Coleraine senior hurling team to last season’s championship and league double.
