With no Ulster representatives in the All-Ireland semi-finals, a number of the provinces best players have taken the opportunity to head to America the summer.
Monaghan and Tyrone both saw their seasons come to an end last weekend at the All-Ireland quarter-final stage, losing out to Louth and Kerry respectively.
Three of Armagh’s All-Ireland winners from 2024 are off. Darragh McMullen and Tomas McCormack have joined up with Ulster while Peter McGrane will play for Young Irelands.
2025 Young Footballer of the Year Finnbar Roarty has linked up with Padraig Pearses whole his Donegal teammates, Turlough Carr, Max Campbell, Seanán Carr and Shea Malone are all away as well.
Monaghan defender Dylan Byrne will spend the summer with Aidan McAnespies while u20 star Tom Doherty is off to Sean Traceys.
Tyrone’s Ronan Cassidy will play with John McBrides. Ben Cullen, Mattie Og McGleenan and Michael Rafferty are all away for the summer as well.
Niall Carolan and Paddy Lynch of Cavan are both off to Boston while Darragh Lovett will also spend the next couple of months in America. Derry’s Eoin McEvoy has linked up with Chicago Wolfe Tones.
