St Paul’s minor draw set for later this month

By Michael McMullan

THE draw for fonaCAB Ulster Minor Football Tournament will take place later this month as St Paul’s look into another busy Christmas season.

Reigning champions Dromintee will have to wait to see if they will be back to defend their title.

Cullyhanna are already in the Armagh final but the other side of the draw has been on hold.

Dromintee are in the last four but don’t know who they play after appeals and counterappeals following the quarter-final between Carrickcruppen and Silverbridge.

Silverbridge were 3-8 to 0-16 winners but Carrickcruppen lodged an appeal against the result, questioning if Silverbridge’s winner goal should have stood.

The Monaghan final between Aughnamullen and Donaghmoyne takes place on Sunday.

In Antrim, the final is down for the following week with champions Portglenone taking on St Paul’s.

The draw will take place on Saturday, October 31.

Cavan: Denn
Derry: Lavey
